The second season of the Fourni Underwater Survey was a huge success. The team located 23 new shipwrecks, bringing the total to 45 shipwrecks since last September. The findings solidify the maritime archaeological significance of Fourni.
The project is directed by George Koutsouflakis (Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities) and Peter (RPM Nautical Foundation/University of Southampton).
